(It's not a creature.) If an ability triggers whenever an opponent loses life and its effect causes you to gain life, such as the ability of Exquisite Blood, this will loop until either you win the game or a player takes an action to break the loop
Of course this depends on your audience, but some of the guys I trade with wouldnt even know what I meant if I told them, here are my Type 2 cards, heres the Extended section, and behind that is Legacy, and if I have any Vintage-only stuff, its in the back. If they want some random Green fatty they might not have seen before to fill out their casual or EDH deck, then you create some extra work when they have to search through three sections of Green cards, or more if you dont have it organized by color
Despite initial concerns that the mechanic would lead to too much rules complexity, the designers at Wizards of the Coast kept things manageable
I again suggest you read this one as it is, since its short and gimmicky
